At YES we dedicate ourselves to helping youth and their families achieve their goals while respecting their individuality and recognizing their diverse and sometimes challenging needs. Our commitment to healthy lifestyle choices creates an atmosphere where youth can feel safe and supported as they progress toward their goals. We believe everyone should be treated with equality, dignity, respect, and acceptance.
The Vic West Food Security Collective is an action project resulting from the Victoria West Community Association 2003 Vision Project. The guiding principle of the Collective is community building.
Our Place is an inner-city community centre serving Greater Victoria’s most vulnerable: working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, addicted and the homeless.
Rainbow Kitchen serves the community of Esquimalt and beyond with food security measures from week day cold breakfasts or hot lunches prepared and served each day to providing food resources to thousands of others in the CRD through partnerships with other local food security agencies.
The funky offspring of the Galiano Club, the Food Program began in 2007.

The Galiano Community Food Program strives to ensure that Galiano Island is a thriving, livable, food-secure community, where every resident feels included, welcome and empowered to build a deeper connection with their food system. In so doing, the Program improves Galiano’s ecological sustainability and community resilience in the face of climate change and uncertainty. The program seeks to set an example that reaches beyond our local community and spreads across the country.

More than farming... creating cultural change!
We farm for a living, growing 16,000 pounds of vegetables and fruit by hand on just one acre of our 15 acre farm on Swayne Road in Errington, BC. Each Saturday, our “store front” is open at the Errington Farmers’ Market, May through to the end of September - we hope to see you there, supporting local food, local jobs and farming!
Come join us for fun, food, and friendship! Bring your market basket or reusable bags and check out the variety of vendors for your weekly grocery shopping: local vegetables, fruit, eggs, bread & baking, honey, meat, preserves, handmade soap, jewellery, pottery, fibre arts, plants, flowers, meat and more!
We grow real food, naturally! We love this land and what it produces… Our Berries are CERTIFIED ORGANIC. Delicious and packed with nutrients, the mainly Reka Blueberries, are ripe from early July to mid-August each year. We pick and sell, directly from the farm gate, with some deliveries available.
We are an organic farm on Vancouver Island providing healthy food, educational programs and community-building opportunities since 2001.
