The funky offspring of the Galiano Club, the Food Program began in 2007.

The Galiano Community Food Program strives to ensure that Galiano Island is a thriving, livable, food-secure community, where every resident feels included, welcome and empowered to build a deeper connection with their food system. In so doing, the Program improves Galiano’s ecological sustainability and community resilience in the face of climate change and uncertainty. The program seeks to set an example that reaches beyond our local community and spreads across the country.

More than farming... creating cultural change!
We farm for a living, growing 16,000 pounds of vegetables and fruit by hand on just one acre of our 15 acre farm on Swayne Road in Errington, BC. Each Saturday, our “store front” is open at the Errington Farmers’ Market, May through to the end of September - we hope to see you there, supporting local food, local jobs and farming!
Come join us for fun, food, and friendship! Bring your market basket or reusable bags and check out the variety of vendors for your weekly grocery shopping: local vegetables, fruit, eggs, bread & baking, honey, meat, preserves, handmade soap, jewellery, pottery, fibre arts, plants, flowers, meat and more!
