At Quadra Village Community Centre we are committed to building community and personal capacity.  Our Mission is to work together to nurture community well-being by providing services and programs to meet social, educational, health, employment, environmental and recreational needs of people in our neighbourhood in a safe and welcoming environment. We offer various programs, outreach, support and drop-ins  for children, youth, families, adults and seniors. Programs

Wark Street Commons Garden

Quadra Village Community Centre
As Garden Coordinator for Quadra Village Community Centre, Jenny is working with community members to maintain and build capacity within the Wark St. Commons and the People's Apothecary, garden areas around QVCC and other local food and medicine initiatives in Quadra-Hillside. Workshops and work parties are held monthly in the spring and summer, where community members can learn about growing, harvesting and maintaining a garden using permaculture and organic principles.

Best Babies

Quadra Village Community Centre
A pre- and post-natal program, in cooperation with Victoria Best Babies and Island Health that aims to optimize nutrition and health in expectant new parents and families.
