A hands-on six week, in-the-kitchen cooking course. Learn skills for shopping at the grocery store and preparing delicious, affordable, healthy meals. Free cookbook for all participants.
Avaliable to low-income families enrolled in the Healthy Families Program, between June and October each year. Market coupons provide families and seniors with access to fresh, locally produced food.
The Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is a community based program that supports women through their pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life. The program provides resources and support in areas such as nutrition, health issues, breastfeeding and infant development.
The Healthy Families Program is an accredited B.C. Family Resource Program which supports pregnant women, parents and caregivers to provide children (birth up to 6th year) with a strong foundation in life.
