North Island Community Services is a non-profit organization that is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. These directors are representative of the communities we serve, various professional disciplines, and our client group. Our services are available to residents of the Mt. Waddington Regional District. Physicians, social workers and clinicians may provide referals to our programs. We also accept self referrals. The Provincial and Federal Governments pay the complete cost of many of our services.

Programs

The Community Links Programs, funded by Community Living BC, are designed to provide support to adults living with developmental disabilities in the Mount Waddington Regional District. Our programs, including Semi-Independent Living, Community Inclusion, and Supported Employment, provide opportunities to develop daily living skills, employment skills, as well as access to recreational and leisure activities.
Our Toddler Time Program is located at Huckleberry House Children's Centre, three times a week. All parents and guardians are welcome to attend with their children ages 0-6 years.
