About the Food Atlas

The Food Atlas is a comprehensive catalogue of food security resources across the entire Vancouver Island Health Authority service area.

Located inside the Fairfield Community Place, open Monday to Friday during centre hours.

Free for anyone to take and/or donate. Open 24/7 outside the main entrance of Fairfield Community Place.

The pantry is open weekly on Tuesdays for registered individuals to shop for quality, rescued foods in a safe, comfortable environment.

The Alberni Valley Gleaning Project harvests fruit, nuts, and vegetables and distributes them throughout the community.
