No need to cook and eat alone! Social Cooking sessions are offered at Gordon Head Recreation Centre and GR Pearkes Recreation Centre bi-weekly. This is not a cooking instruction class but a cooperative, fun social time to cook together and enjoy a meal. Everything provided, just bring an apron and extra container in case of leftovers!
A pre- and post-natal program, in cooperation with Victoria Best Babies and Island Health that aims to optimize nutrition and health in expectant new parents and families.
As part of our mission to increase access to healthy food, we have established an edible nursery where we grow and sell a variety of annual and perennial vegetables, herbs and fruits for the backyard and community gardener. We believe strongly that providing hardy, vigorous plants to Victoria’s thriving gardening community is an important piece in the local food security puzzle.
