Launched in August of 2015, the Cow-op.ca is the first initiative/social enterprise of the Cowichan Valley Co-operative Marketplace (CVCM), a non-profit Community Services Co-op incorporated in 2014, guided by a membership made up of local farmers, food processors, and community partners to develop collective initiatives addressing local food security and farm viability in the Cowichan Region.
