“Food is the Medium, Community is the Message” is our catchy vision statement. One of the goals of the Galiano Community Food Program from its inception has been to build community. And the way we do that is through the sharing of food with neighbours and community members.
If you are inspired by fresh, local, seasonal vegetables and fruit, our box program may be just what you are looking for. We grow over 40 varieties of fruit and vegetable throughout the season.
Our Box Program begins in the spring and continues until the end of December. Start and end dates are dependant on the weather.
